About Thunderstruck Baseball

Like the Sandlot, We play for fun.

Welcome to Thunderstruck Baseball.  We look to provide kids an opportunity to compete in local tournaments and experience open base play.  We have no boundaries and no school affiliation, so no matter where you live, you can play in Medford.

Age groups are 10u, 11u, 12u, 13u & 14u.  Players age group is decided based on the players age as of 03-15-19.  Kids may play up but never down.  10u is for 10 years old and under, younger kids may play if they have the ability.

This program was built to allow kids to play in local tournaments and compete at a higher level, without the cost normally associated with travel ball teams.  We ONLY play in these tournaments, we do not travel or have league games.  We do not  believe in win at all cost, we want kids to continue to play ball, learn more about the game, and have fun.

We have a few requirements....

Kids must have a good attitude, plain and simple.

Kids must have the ability to play: we have limited practices, and overall ability to throw, catch, and bat is essential, especially for safety.

Kids must want to play, this means anywhere on the field,

a kid should want to step on it.

Parents need to support the team as a whole,

this is not about any one individual player.

All players, coaches and parents will serve as representatives of our program and we promote sportsmanship and respect to all others.

If you are wondering about the cost to play, there are many factors we have to consider.

We will go over all of that at the parent meeting, but our best guess will be between $120-$140 per player.
